Mud Hens Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Toledo Mud Hens stopped the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Chris Tremie. The 25-year old catcher made life miserable for Savannah pitching. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Toledo reliever Richie Lewis picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Dustin Hermanson took the loss. At 32-84, the Mud Hens are currently 5th in the Atlantic Northeast.

One of the biggest contributors for Toledo was center fielder Jose R Herrera. In the bottom of the 11th, with a runner on 1st, Herrera got a 2-1 slider and hit a walk-off 2-run home run. That put the Mud Hens on top, 4-2.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Herrera said.
