Johns Now 10-5 After Subduing Bisons
|
The Southeast Slammers got a stellar performance from pitcher Doug Johns, who handcuffed the Buffalo offense en route to a 2-0 win at Aspinwall Grounds. Buffalo has now lost 9 in a row.
The Bisons had trouble solving Johns, who surrendered no earned runs on 1 hit over 8.1 innings.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Johns told the Southeast News.
