Red Wings Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Milwaukee
|
Behind the bravura of designated hitter Terrell Lowery, the Rochester Red Wings topped the Milwaukee Otters by the score of 7-5. Lowery went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI for the Red Wings. Rochester reliever Brad Woodall was the winner. His record is now 7-3. Willie Blair took the loss. With the victory, the Red Wings record now stands at 55-64.
Rochester relied on the hitting of Tom Lampkin to pick up the win. The catcher ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Red Wings on top, 1-0. For the game, Lampkin had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Lampkin told the Rochester Daily News.
