Swamp Foxes Lose, 4-2, at Wolves Ballpark
|
Hartford pitcher Pat Rapp did his part in helping his team beat the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Paul Byrd earned his 2nd save in 4 chances. Hartford is second in the Atlantic Northeast with a record of 63-55.
One significant plate appearance for Hartford came with one out in the bottom of the third inning. Whalers right fielder Brady Anderson drew a walk, driving in 1 run, which helped Hartford go on to win.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Anderson said after the game.
