Blue Crabs, Knorr Blast Slammers

It was a fun time at Fire Dogs Ballpark, where the Southeast Slammers and Ocean City Blue Crabs tangled.
The Ocean City Blue Crabs had no problem beating the Southeast Slammers, 11-1, at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Randy Knorr led the way. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Ocean City. Jim Neidlinger was the winner. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
Garey Ingram chipped in for Ocean City with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Ingram.
The Blue Crabs now own a record of 58-62.
