Sparks Stops Jacksonville
|
The Brooklyn Cyclones rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Jacksonville Suns at Field of the Running Rebels today. Leading the way to victory was starter Steve W Sparks, who shackled the Jacksonville Suns and held them scoreless on a 5-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Sparks said in his postgame press conference.
In 24 starts this year Sparks has crafted a 18-3 record and a 2.73 ERA.
