The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Tucson Tarantulas by the score of 6-3, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Jose Oliva. Oliva went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Buzz. With the loss, Tucson falls to 2-2.
With Salt Lake City leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Oliva hit a curveball from Matt Wagner for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Buzz ahead, 5-1.
"Enjoyed this one," Oliva told the Salt Lake City Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
