Walla Walla right-hander Gene Nelson was in fine form, shutting out the Salt Lake City Buzz, 2-0. The Warriors keep rolling, raising their record to 4-1.

Chris Turner had a big run-scoring single for the Warriors in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Walla Walla leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Steve Parris and stroked the single to left. It was his 3rd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Warriors ahead, 2-0.

"It was a good effort all around," said Nelson.
