Storm Chasers Win at Idaho Falls, 9-2
|
Omaha and Idaho Falls met at Alleycats Ballpark in front of a lively crowd.
The Omaha Storm Chasers got a strong performance from pitcher Carlos Pulido, who stymied the Idaho Falls offense en route to a 9-2 win at Alleycats Ballpark. The winning pitcher was Pulido, now 1-1. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 4.
Mike Figga tagged a home run off Rich Hunter in the top of the second. His 2-run blast put the Storm Chasers on top, 3-1. In all, Figga had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Omaha manager .
The win lifts Omaha to a record of 4-5.
