Chukars Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Omaha
Idaho Falls Chukars starter Jim Pittsley was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Omaha Storm Chasers, 6-2. Pittsley, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. The win brings the Chukars to 6-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The Chukars grabbed the lead in the bottom of the second. With one out, Takahiro Suzuki hit a 2-run home run off Mark Leiter, putting Idaho Falls in front, 4-0. For Suzuki, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Suzuki.
