Storm Chasers Walk It Off for 7th Win of Season
Omaha right-hander Pete J. Smith helped his team edge Round Rock by the score of 3-2. Smith kept the opposing lineup in check. Omaha reliever Dave Shipanoff was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Jeff Schwarz. The Storm Chasers, now 7-1, have stormed out of the gates.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Omaha left fielder David Justice, facing Frank Cimorelli, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Storm Chasers the 3-2 win.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Smith.
