Sky Fox Win in Extras
|
Colorado Springs right fielder David Dellucci made his presence felt in the 8-6 Sky Fox triumph over the Salt Lake City Buzz. Dellucci was 3 for 6 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Sky Fox have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 11 games.
Colorado Springs used the timely hitting of David Doster to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Sky Fox on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Doster told the Colorado Springs Herald.
