Rainiers Rally For Late Win Over Sky Fox
The Tacoma Rainiers picked up a win at Premont Grounds, knocking off the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, 5-3. Starting pitcher Greg Keagle played a key role in the triumph. Jeff Wallace got credit for the save for Tacoma. It was his 1st of the year. The Sky Fox, at 4-10, have stumbled out of the gate.

Micah Franklin drew 1 walk for Tacoma. The 24-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jimmy Jones. It was his 5th walk of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Franklin said.
