Sky Fox Bridle Storm Chasers, 2-0
|
Tom Rowe could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Omaha Storm Chasers lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Colorado Springs Sky Fox at Maples Stadium. The Sky Fox have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 17 games.
In the top of the fourth, Colorado Springs first baseman Mitsunobu Takahashi had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Omaha hurler Tom Rowe, Takahashi hit a sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Colorado Springs. For the day, Takahashi drew 1 walk.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Takahashi said after the game.
