The Tucson Tarantulas powered past the Idaho Falls Chukars, 8-3, at Ballpark of Louisville. Andres Galarraga was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2, to lead the charge. The Tarantulas, now 12-3, have stormed out of the gates.

With one out in the bottom of the second, Ray Holbert hit a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 11th hit of the season and with it the Tarantulas took a 3-2 lead.
