Victory Over Rainiers Takes Salt Lake City to 11-6
Benefiting from Jerome Walton's productive game, the Salt Lake City Buzz downed the Tacoma Rainiers, 9-3. Walton went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Buzz. Tim Pugh got credit for the save for Salt Lake City. It was his 1st of the year. Salt Lake City goes to 11-6 with the win.

Walton came through with some timely hitting for Salt Lake City. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the first and no one down, Walton hit a 0-1 cutter for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season made it 3-0, Salt Lake City.

"We played hard and won," said Walton. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
