Left-hander Chuck Finley mesmerized the New Orleans Brass while leading the Tucson Tarantulas to a 2-0 victory. The winning pitcher was Finley, now 4-0. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. The Tarantulas have hit the ground running, raising their record to 15-4. While it's still too soon to talk about Tucson hoisting their 1st World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

In the bottom of the ninth, Joe Oliver stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Brass were trailing 2-0, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. That's when Keith Foulke made a terrific pitch and Oliver struck out. Gone was the dream of a New Orleans comeback.
