Taylor Now 2-1 After Subduing Buzz
|
Round Rock got a first-rate effort from pitcher Wade Taylor, who frustrated Salt Lake City hitters en route to a 3-1 Express triumph at Alleycats Ballpark. Alberto Reyes was credited with the save for Round Rock, his 4th of the season. Salt Lake City, at 0-22, has had a dismal start to the season.
Taylor earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Round Rock. The native of Mobile, Alabama allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Salt Lake City hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Salt Lake City skipper .
