5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Spokane's Tim Laker made it happen today against the Storm Chasers. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old catcher as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the River Rats to a 12-8 win at Maples Stadium.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Laker said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Tim Laker hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
