Victory Over Rainiers Takes New Orleans to 15-10
|
The Tacoma Rainiers and New Orleans Brass cranked it up at Premont Grounds.
The New Orleans Brass defeated the Tacoma Rainiers, 7-4, at Premont Grounds today. Leading the charge for New Orleans was center fielder Dante Powell. He was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Tim Davis got the save, the 1st for him this season.
New Orleans took the lead in the top of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Jose L Cruz stroked a 2-run single to make it 3-2, Brass.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said New Orleans manager .
New Orleans is now riding a 4-game win streak.
