Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Pete Incaviglia, the Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the San Antonio Missions, 5-2. Incaviglia was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Storm Chasers. Clint Zavaras got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits in 8 innings. Troy Percival locked down his 4th save.

The Storm Chasers beat the Missions with some clutch hitting. The single by Jack Voigt in the bottom of the sixth is a good example. With two down, Voigt gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he came through with the big hit.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Voigt. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Omaha, now 20-4, is playing great baseball to start the year.
