The Tucson Tarantulas powered past the New Orleans Brass, 9-3, at Ballpark of Louisville. Roberto Mejia was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. Tucson is now riding a 4-game win streak.

Mejia contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Tucson in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Mejia took a sinker from Vaughn Eshelman and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Tarantulas to leap in front, 2-1.

Mejia said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
