Chukars Roll to 8-3 Win Over Buzz
The Idaho Falls Chukars picked up a win at Bella Vista Grounds, knocking off the Salt Lake City Buzz, 8-3. On the mound for Idaho Falls was right-hander Phil Leftwich, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 7.1 innings, Leftwich surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. The Chukars bumped their record to 14-13 with this latest triumph.

Idaho Falls needed the clutch hitting of Darren Daulton to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Chukars on top, 5-3. For the game, Daulton had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
