The Tucson Tarantulas defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 7-2, in Pacific action at Ballpark of Louisville, with Tucson pitcher Bob Wolcott named player of the game. In 7.2 innings, Wolcott surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Tucson has an impressive 20-10 record.

Tucson catcher Matt Walbeck laid a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. It was his 3rd home run of the season. With it, the Tarantulas took a 2-1 lead.
