Victory Over Tarantulas Takes Spokane to 21-13
The Spokane River Rats powered past the Tucson Tarantulas, 10-5, at Foxes Ballpark. Gene Kingsale was 4-4 with 3 doubles and a walk, to lead the charge. Scott Eyre went 5 innings for Spokane to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 5 earned runs. He scattered 8 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 3. His record improves to 2-1.
