Matt Mieske was instrumental in his team's 12-1 triumph over the Colorado Springs Sky Fox. The first baseman was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Omaha Storm Chasers. Omaha is last in the Pacific Central with a record of 10-24.
Eduardo Perez made an early impact for Omaha when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Storm Chasers on top, 5-1.
