Chukars Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus San Antonio
The Idaho Falls Chukars relied on the hitting of designated hitter Dax Jones to stop the San Antonio Missions, 7-4. For the game, Jones was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Idaho Falls reliever Steve Falteisek picked up the win to move to 1-1. Allan Anderson suffered the loss. Ralph Citarella earned the save for Idaho Falls, his 8th of the year.

Helping the Idaho Falls cause was Dwight Smith. In the top of the seventh, the 33-year old left fielder had a 2-run double to make the score 4-2, Chukars.

"It feels good to get this one," Jones told the Idaho Falls Times.

The Chukars raised their record to 20-17.
