Dellucci Leads Sky Fox to Win over River Rats
|
David Dellucci helped his team muscle past the Spokane River Rats, 9-6. In the game, the Colorado Springs right fielder was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Curtis King earned the save for Colorado Springs, his 3rd of the year. Even with the win, the Sky Fox have a dismal 12-25 record.
Andujar Cedeno was vital part of the Colorado Springs win. He was 1 for 5. In the bottom of the fifth with no one out, Cedeno hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 7-6, in favor of the Sky Fox.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Cedeno told the Colorado Springs Herald.
