Storm Chasers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Chukars
It was a fun time at Maples Stadium, where the Idaho Falls Chukars and Omaha Storm Chasers tangled.

Getting a good performance from first baseman Matt Mieske, the Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Idaho Falls Chukars, 8-2. Mieske was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Storm Chasers. Even with the win, the Storm Chasers have a dismal 12-31 record.

Omaha took a 8-2 lead on Mieske's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Bill Sampen in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Omaha to the win.
