Close Win Moves Spiders to 12-10
|
Cleveland right-hander Bob Sebra pitched his team to victory over the Orlando Devil Rays at League Park. The final score was 4-3. The save went to Steve Karsay, his 6th this season. The win takes Cleveland to 12-10.
In the bottom of the seventh, Cleveland center fielder Garret Anderson had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Orlando hurler Mitch Williams, Anderson grounded out, driving in 1 run. That made the score 4-1, Cleveland. For the day, Anderson went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Orlando manager Ben Tennyson.
