The Round Rock Express picked up a win at Alleycats Ballpark, knocking off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Kent Bottenfield played a key role in the triumph. Round Rock reliever Alberto Reyes picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Pete J. Smith took the loss. The Express' win now puts them at 21-22.

Late in the game, left fielder Les Norman had a big at-bat for Round Rock. In the bottom of the ninth, he hit a run-scoring single off Pete J. Smith. The play gave the Express a 5-4 lead.

"Everything felt in sync," said Bottenfield.
