Warriors Prove Rude Guests, Win 5-2 at San Antonio
The Walla Walla Warriors got a good effort from starter Ugueth Urbina in defeating the San Antonio Missions at Texans Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Urbina, now 3-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Pete Young earned the save for Walla Walla, his 1st of the year.

With runs few and far between, the Warriors had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Walla Walla came in the top of the sixth inning, when center fielder Braulio Castillo delivered a 2-run single. The single was hit off Tim Belcher and made the score 3-1, Warriors. Castillo went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Castillo said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
