Davis Hits 2 home runs in Reds Win
The Cincinnati Reds powered past the Orlando Sun Rays, 8-4, at Orlando Citrus Bowl. Eric Davis hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4, to lead the charge. Jose Rijo earned the win for Cincinnati. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 9 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1. The Sun Rays fall to 7-15 and continue their lackluster start to the 1995 season.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when third baseman Craig Grebeck, who led the FL in doubles with 55 in 1992, hit a single. The Reds went on to win.
