Miller Helps Missions Run Win Streak to 6
The San Antonio Missions knocked off the Salt Lake City Buzz, 13-9, at Bella Vista Grounds. Orlando Miller, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason San Antonio won. The third baseman was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. San Antonio reliever Bob Scanlan picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Hideki Irabu absorbed the loss. San Antonio has now won 6 straight.

Miller had a key at-bat for San Antonio early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and gave San Antonio an early 2-0 lead.
