Storm Chasers Need Extras to Top Missions

Omaha turned a good effort from starter Geremi Gonzalez into a win over the San Antonio Missions at Texans Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Pat Gomez sewed up the save, his 1st. Even with the win, the Storm Chasers have a dismal 14-37 record.
Gonzalez, the Omaha right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no earned runs on 5 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
