In a close game at Motors Ballpark, the Colorado Springs Sky Fox edged the Idaho Falls Chukars, 4-3. Colorado Springs left fielder Bruce Aven earned the nod as player of the game. He belted 2 home runs. Jason Johnson, credited with the win, is now 2-6. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 7.1 innings. Antonio Alfonseca was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
Having an impact for Colorado Springs was Julio Mosquera. In the bottom of the fourth inning, the 25-year old catcher had a 2-run home run to make the score 2-0, Sky Fox.
