Late Rally by Chukars Secures Win
Conditions were not ideal but Idaho Falls and Colorado Springs were able to put their game in the books.

The Idaho Falls Chukars had to overcome a big game from Colorado Springs catcher Julio Mosquera to leave Motors Ballpark with a 5-4 victory. Mosquera was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times. The second-place Chukars lifted their record to 28-25.

Dave Hajek said the idea of hitting a home run barely crossed his mind when he came to bat in the top of the eighth. Hajek belted a 2-run home run to stake Idaho Falls to a 5-4 lead. His 3rd home run of the season came off Colorado Springs pitcher Frank Viola.

"It feels good to get this one," Hajek told the Idaho Falls Times.
