Victory Over Tarantulas Takes New Orleans to 31-20
The New Orleans Brass easily defeated the Tucson Tarantulas, 12-4, at Ballpark of Louisville, with catcher Greg Myers a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for New Orleans. New Orleans leads the Pacific Central by 4 games.

It could have been a different outcome for New Orleans, had it not been for Scott Brosius, the 30-year old third baseman . Brosius contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put New Orleans up, 6-0.

"We'll savor this win," Myers told the New Orleans Bulletin, "then get ready for the next game."
