Isringhausen Dominant in New York Win
It was a fun time at Shea Stadium, where the Washington Senators and New York Mets tangled.

New York beat Washington on the strength of starter Jason Isringhausen's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-0 win. Todd Jones got the save, the 1st for him this season.

The Senators had trouble solving Isringhausen, who surrendered no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings.

"I liked his command," said New York manager Michael Kritikos. "Jason was throwing strikes."

Losses have been few and far between for the Senators, who are now 17-5.
