Benefiting from David Dellucci's productive game, the Colorado Springs Sky Fox downed the New Orleans Brass, 11-2. Dellucci was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Sky Fox. Clint Zavaras went 6 innings for Colorado Springs to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 earned runs. He scattered 3 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 3. His record improves to 5-3. The Sky Fox go to 20-34, putting them 5th in the Pacific Central.
With Colorado Springs leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Dellucci hit a fastball from Paul Wagner for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Sky Fox ahead, 4-1.
