Missions Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The San Antonio Missions racked up a win at Foxes Ballpark, bumping off the Spokane River Rats, 6-4. Marty Bystrom, who started for San Antonio , pitched effectively for his team. San Antonio is now 29-26. Spokane is 35-20.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder David Green came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Spokane pitcher Doug Brocail, he hit a first pitch slider for a 2-run home run. It was a game-changer, putting San Antonio on top, 6-4.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Bystrom told the San Antonio Chronicle. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
