The New Orleans Brass defeated the Walla Walla Warriors, 8-4, in Pacific action at Bay Hawks Ballpark, with New Orleans pitcher Paul Wagner named player of the game. Earning his 3rd save for New Orleans was Tim Davis. The Brass improved to a lofty 39-16.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Walla Walla hurler Ugueth Urbina, Steve Gibralter hit a 3-run home run. The Brass went on to win.
