Sounds Win at Tucson, 9-4
|
Nashville starter Paul Wilson pitched effectively against the Tucson Tarantulas at Ballpark of Louisville. The right-hander led his team to a 9-4 win. Wilson picked up the win for Nashville, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-1. Nashville is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Danny Bautista had a nice at-bat for the Sounds with no one out in the top of the third. With a runner on 1st, the right fielder hit a 2-run home run, which would prove important in the Nashville win.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Wilson.
