The Round Rock Express beat the Spokane River Rats, 11-4, at Alleycats Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of second baseman Mark Lewis, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Wade Taylor got the win, improving to 6-3. He held the River Rats to 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 5. At 26-31, Round Rock is in 5th place in the Pacific Central.

Lewis had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Express went on to win.
