The San Antonio Missions managed to get by the Tucson Tarantulas, 4-3, at Texans Stadium. San Antonio pitcher Marty Bystrom took player of the game honors. Tucson's current losing streak has reached 6 games.

Mike Difelice had a big 2-run double for the Missions in the bottom of the sixth inning. With San Antonio leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Rick Krivda and stroked the double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Missions ahead, 4-1.
