The Nashville Sounds downed the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, 7-5, at Motors Ballpark. The Sounds were led by Eli Marrero, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jaime Navarro got the win, improving to 5-6.
