Third Baseman Nunez has 4 hit night, Steals Spotlight in Salt Lake City Rout
It was a good time at Bella Vista Grounds, where fans came to watch the Omaha Storm Chasers and Salt Lake City Buzz get after it.

The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 12-3, with shortstop Abraham O Nunez playing a big role. Nunez was 4-4 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Buzz in the win. Hideki Irabu, credited with the win, is now 5-5. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings. Mark Acre earned the save for Salt Lake City, his 2nd of the year.

In the bottom of the third, Salt Lake City designated hitter Brian Johnson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Johnson stroked a bases-clearing double to right-center. It made the score 10-0, Salt Lake City. For the game, he was 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Nunez said. "We did a good job of that today."

Salt Lake City bumps their record to 31-27 with the win.
