The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 10-7, in Pacific action at Alleycats Ballpark. The player of the game was Salt Lake City designated hitter Brian Johnson. Paul Spoljaric earned the save, his 12th, for the Buzz. Idaho Falls has now lost 8 straight.

Johnson had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count slider from Bill Sampen, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Buzz a 10-7 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Johnson.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Johnson told the Salt Lake City Observer.
