Brass Win at Idaho Falls, 6-1

Spirited fans at Alleycats Ballpark greeted the Idaho Falls Chukars for their clash with the New Orleans Brass.
The New Orleans Brass relied on the hitting of right fielder Jose L Cruz to stop the Idaho Falls Chukars, 6-1. For the game, Cruz was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Idaho Falls is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 10 in a row.
Cruz had a big hit for New Orleans with one out in the top of the third. With New Orleans leading 2-0, Cruz hit a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Brass up, 5-0.
Cruz called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
