Tapani Hurls Complete Game at Premont Grounds
|
The Omaha Storm Chasers got a stellar performance from pitcher Kevin Tapani, who handcuffed the Tacoma offense en route to a 6-1 win at Premont Grounds. Omaha improves to 47-17 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.
Tapani, the winner, is now 11-2. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 earned run on 5 hits, while collecting 7 Ks. He essentially shut down the Tacoma offense.
