The Naperville Lazy Fisherman beat the Nashville Sounds, 7-3, at Ballpark of Milton. The Lazy Fisherman got a fine performance from first baseman Matt Luke, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Naperville reliever Pete Young, now 1-2. The loser was Paul Wilson. Naperville now has a 4-game win streak.
